Does helping others bring positivity into our lives?
Does helping others bring positivity into our lives?
When we help someone in any way, we aim to uplift them. When we uplift others, not only do we get inner satisfaction, but we ourselves get inspired and encouraged.
Most people try to halt other people from growing because they feel insecure. Such people forget that when other people grow, they will also be able to share their fruits with them. If we cooperate with one another, we can achieve more considerable success in life because we will have people to support us and their experiences to learn from.
Always be open to helping others. The positive change you bring in their life will brighten up even your own life. How does being aware bring clarity to life?
Being aware means knowing things as they truly are. Once we reach this level of inner consciousness, we become non-judgemental and unbiased.
Most people live unaware because their minds are mainly guided by external influences. They think and feel the way they are made to do so. When one becomes aware, the mind develops the capability to free itself from any influence and see things from the level of deeper consciousness, and that’s when everything can be seen with clarity.
To heighten your awareness, you need to connect with your inner self. The deeper this connection, the clearer you can see.Can we break through any challenge in life?
Challenges are forces that create a barrier in our life. To overcome any obstacle, we need to build and cultivate our inner strength.
The reason why most people do not try or give up in front of a challenge is not the lack of skills or abilities; they are unaware of their inner strength. Once we recognise our inner strength, even significant obstacles become manageable.
To create inner strength, you need to be true to yourself, trust yourself, surround yourself with positive people, help others, think positive, meditate and pray. Once you feel strong from within, no challenge will ever make you weak.BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT, FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" (Matt 5:3)
Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A)
πZeph 2:3, 3:12-13; Psalm 146:6c-7, 8b-9a, 9bc-10 (R. Matt 5:3); 1Cor 1:26-31; Matt 5:1-12a
Do you remember that Jesus said that even though we are in the world, we do not belong to the world (cf. John 15:19)? As Christians, our ways must be different from the ways of the world. This is the message of today's liturgy.
Looking closely at the Beatitudes which are presented in the Gospel of today, we shall see that they completely uphold ways that are antithetical to the worldly ways. While the world measures happiness by wealth, power and success, the Gospel says it through detachment, meekness, gentleness, mercy, being peaceful and suffering for justice and righteousness.
Again, while the world measures success by what it can immediately see, the Gospel is interested in what becomes of the person in life eternal. "For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and suffers the loss of his soul?" (Mark 8:36).
So, in response to the invitation which Jesus extended to us through the beatitudes, St. Paul reminded us that it was from our nothingness that God chose us into the exalted position of being his children. That means that without him, we are nothing. In order to remain relevant in him and allow him to continue filling us up, we must empty ourselves of all that bloats us. A sack that is already full can no longer take in anything, but that which is empty can take in more. When we empty ourselves, we give God the room to fill us with more blessings, grace and favour.
That is the message of the prophet Zephaniah in the First Reading. Those who are humble shall be left in the presence of God, the good shepherd of Psalm 23 who shall lead them to "pasture and lie down, and none shall make them afraid" (Zeph 3:13). That is symbol of living in the kingdom of God, that is eternal life.
May God grant us the grace to purge ourselves of all that bloat us, making us to forget that our source is only found in God and not in material things. And may those who place their trust in him renew their strength always. Amen.
Happy Sunday to you. It is well with you.

Is your company adding worth to someone's life?
Having a good companion can change the whole experience of life. Even the most difficult times appear like smooth sail.
Most people do have a companion in their lives. It could be a friend, partner, or any other loved one. Having a companion means that you have someone trustworthy walking with you in your life's journey. Such people add much strength to our lives because we know that we are never alone in any situation.
Be a companion that your loved one can always rely upon. If you have such a companion in your life, make sure you appreciate them. How do we know if we have chosen the right people in life?
People around us can make us rise or fall in life. Choosing the right people can be hard because we can never know what’s in a person’s heart.
Sometimes, we are with someone, but every time we want to do something, they create self-doubt and pull us down. They criticise our ability to achieve, find faults, and belittle us. These are the people we want to keep our distance from.
Be with people who increase your self-confidence. If someone is true to you, they will always support, encourage and strengthen you. You can trust them because all they want is for you to succeed. Why does giving joy to others make us happy?
Whenever we do anything that connects us with our inner being, we feel fulfilled. This inner fulfilment is what gives us true joy and peace.
When we do anything to help someone, we intend to make them comfortable and add joy to their lives. Good intention is a great driving force in life. The goodness we hold in our hearts always comes back to us in bigger and better ways.
Always try to add joy to other people's life. You will find even more reasons to smile.Does the onus of our success belong to some other people too?
Success is never achieved alone. There are always people behind us who help us to get where we want.
Sometimes, when people achieve success, they feel so powerful that they find everyone else too small. They don't acknowledge that what's making them feel powerful is not their success but the power of the people who had supported them. This power stays only when we acknowledge their guidance, wishes and presence in our lives.
Acknowledge and appreciate those who have helped you in your life. You will create success that will last. What do you do when your plan falls through?
Planning is a great way to foresight and manage the ups and downs that you may face . However cautious and thorough planning it may be, plans do fail at times.
When a plan fails, most people are unable to accept it. This is because most plans are designed to be fixed, allowing little or no room for changes or adjustment. When things take an unexpected turn, people feel they lack the capability to handle them.
Whether your plan is big or small or at the starting stage or near to completion, if ever it fails, don't lose heart. Calm your mind, reassess it and think of new ways to go about it.α» na-anabata mmejα» gα»?
