*Boko Haram👀 Gets Fresh Warning as 💥Insurgency in Nigeria Hits 🔟 Years*

Major General Bulama Biu, the General Officer Commanding 7 Div, Nigerian Army, has renewed call to Boko Haram to surrender their arms.

The 10-year long insurgency has caused displacement of over two million people, leaving thousands dead.

Biu made the call at an event organized in his honour on Saturday at the Command Guest House Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri, the Borno capital.

President Muhammad Buhari recently approved accelerated promotion of Biu and other officers in view of their contributions in the counter-insurgency campaign.

Biu lamented that the insurgency had inflicted colossal damage on lives and property, and urged the insurgents to avail themselves the opportunities of the amnesty programme initiated by the Federal Government under the “Operation Safe Corridor”.

“You still have the opportunity to lay down your arms; the time to surrender is now, to enable you rejoin the society,” he said.

Biu warned that if the insurgents continued with their offensive, the military was ready to crush them.

*El-Zakzaky: Nigerian Shiites Issue🔊 Warning to Buhari*

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (Shiites) has warned President Muhammadu Buhari to stop claiming that the fate of its leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, lies with the courts not the federal government.

A statement on Sunday signed by the President Media Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim Musa wondered how the presidency would make such a claim, when since December 2016, a federal high court in Abuja, presided by Justice Kolawole freed Sheikh El-Zakzaky.

He said: “In December 2016 the Federal High Court in Abuja freed Sheikh Zakzaky from the illegal detention, ordered that he, along with his wife, be compensated to the tune of N50m, a house be provided for him in any part of the country he desires and security be provided for his protection.

“The Buhari government deliberately acted in contempt of court and refused to respect the judiciary. So which court is the presidency talking about that will decide the fate of our leader?”

The IMN further declared that the fresh court case instituted by the Kaduna state government was a mischievous plot to keep its leader in perpetual detention.

“That the government mischievously concocted a new case in Kaduna, three years after the Zaria massacre, accusing the leader of the movement whose wife was shot, three children were killed, elder sister and nephew were burned alive and he was also shot severally, of abetting homicide.

“This was followed by a case in which over 100 members of the movement were freed by the High Court in Kaduna with a ‘No Case Submission’ implying that the case was only a mischief of keeping the revered leader in illegal detention,” the statement added.

*Buhari, Ex-Presidents, Others ⚖Dragged to ICC*

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has sent a petition to Mrs. Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor, International Criminal Court (ICC), urging her to investigate the problem of out-of-school children in Nigeria, and the failure of the Nigerian authorities over the years to address it.

The organization urged Mrs Bensouda to push for those suspected to be responsible, “including current president (Muhammadu Buhari) and former presidents and state governors since 1999, who directly or indirectly have individually and/or collectively breached their special duty toward children, and are therefore complicit in the crime, to be tried by the ICC.”

In the petition signed by SERAP’s deputy director, Kolawole Oluwadare, the organization said investigating and prosecuting high-ranking Nigerian officials and providing reparations to victims will contribute to serving the best interests of Nigerian children, the most vulnerable citizens in our country, and ending the impunity that is denying them their right to education and a life free of violence and fear.

*Nigerians Emerge💫 Chairperson, 👔Secretary of Africa’s Security Services*

Two Nigerians have been appointed Chairperson of the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services of Africa (CISSA) and Executive Secretary.

The unprecedented and historic appointments put the country at a great position to effectively use continental Intelligence Services to deal with security threats across Africa.

In his reaction, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, promised government’s maximum commitment to ensure that CISSA’s aims and objectives are achieved.

Mustapha spoke on Saturday at the end of the 16th Ordinary CISSA Conference at the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Abuja.

He commended the Director-Generals and Heads of Africa’s Intelligence Agencies for electing the NIA Director-General, Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar and Hajia Zainab Ali-Kotoko as its Chairperson and Secretary-General respectively.

While Abubakar took over as Chairperson from Amb. B.K. Likando of the Namibian Intelligence Service for a period of one year until the next conference in Cairo, Egypt, Ali-Kotoko replaced Mr. Shimeles W. Semayat, and will run the Ethiopian-based CISSA Secretariat for five years.

Mustapha said: “By your decision, Nigeria has ascended the position of Chairmanship for the next one year and you have also appointed Zainab Ali-Kotoko as the Executive Secretary of CISSA for the next five years.

“As Nigeria assumes the mantle of CISSA’s leadership for the 2019/2020 session, your collective focus should be on promoting shared goals and objectives and maximizing the impact of this organization across Africa.”

*Why Nigerians⚰ Are Being Killed in 🇿🇦South Africa – Peter Obi*

Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the February 23 presidential election, Peter Obi has condemned the incessant killings in Nigerians.

He however noted that the targeting of Nigerians by the killers “has a lot to do with the way and manner we as a nation value and treat our own people”.

“When we criminalize our people all the time, you don’t expect to get the desired respect and valuing from other people.

“For Ghanaians to be listed among nationals that can enter South Africa without visa while Nigerians are being subjected to such extreme humiliation and killings, should tell a lot about how the global community regards us.”

Speaking to newsmen on Sunday, Obi said that Nigerians should not be killed anywhere, more so in South Africa, given the huge sacrifices made by Nigeria, including the resources it deployed, to secure South Africa’s freedom.

The former Anambra State Governor particularly recalled the personal efforts he made when he was Governor to visit South Africa twice to discuss this menace in his meetings with Okey Emuchay and Uche Okeke, the Nigerian diplomats in charge in South Africa at the various times of his visit.

Speaking against the backdrop of the latest killing of a top Nigerian Lady, former Deputy Director General of Chartered Insurance Insitute of Nigeria, Mrs Elizabeth Ndubisi-Chukwu, Obi said that the record of deaths of Nigerians in South Africa is unacceptable and should not be tolerated any longer by Nigeria.

*Iwobi🔈: I Might Leave Arsenal If They Sign Zaha

✍*

Arsenal wide-man Alex Iwobi claims he may be forced to quit the club if they fulfill their ambition of signing Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

The Gunners have made no secret of their desire to sign the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international and have already had a bid of around £40 million ($50m) rejected for a player the Eagles value at closer to £80 million.

The presence of Zaha would limit Iwobi’s minutes at the Emirates and he says sitting on the sidelines would force hm to consider his position.

“I am not one to chicken out,” the 23-year-old told The Sun. “I have had it all over the years, being told I’m not good enough.

“So whenever the chance comes I always try and prove I should be starting. But it’s going to be difficult if Zaha comes. He will add more stress.

“Obviously my joy is to play football and not just sit out.

“If it comes to that I would have no choice but to leave. But I would always put up a fight to play – that is what I’ve done all my life.”

*Bale⭐ Very Close to Leaving👋 Real Madrid - Zidane*

Zinedine Zidane said Gareth Bale is close to leaving Real Madrid after he was left out of Saturday's International Champions Cup clash against Bayern Munich.

Bale has been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Zidane and the Welsh star was absent as Madrid lost 3-1 to Bayern in Houston.

The 30-year-old, who has three seasons remaining on his contract, has been linked to former club Tottenham, Manchester United and Saturday’s opponent Bayern.

And it appears Bale's future is close to being resolved, with Zidane determined to sell the Wales international sooner rather than later.

Asked why Bale was left out of the squad on Saturday, Zidane told reporters: "Bale did not play because he is very close to leaving.

"We hope he leaves soon, it would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team."

The manager also explained the club’s decision to let the former Spurs star leave, claiming that the club “have to change” following last season’s disappointing results.

"I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done, I have to make decisions, we have to change," he added.

: Nketiah Shines for Arsenal

Eddie Nketiah continued his fine form to lead Arsenal to a 3-0 win over Fiorentina at the International Champions Cup on Saturday.

Nketiah, who scored a late winner against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, netted a brace at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 20-year-old forward led Arsenal to another pre-season victory, scoring once in each half for the Premier League outfit before Joe Willock sealed the win.

Arsenal opened the scoring after 15 minutes thanks to Nketiah, who made it goals in back-to-back games.

Arsenal doubled their lead in the 65th minute as Nketiah continued his goalscoring form.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's cutback from the right found Lacazette, who passed to Nketiah for a simple finish.

Lacazette again kept his composure before playing in Willock, who finished clinically to make it 3-0 in the 89th minute.

*PSG Insist No Concrete Offers In for Neymar❌*

Paris Saint-Germain have not received a "concrete offer" for Neymar, the club's sporting director Leonardo said.

The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions during the close season, with his former club Barcelona looking the most likely destination.

He caused controversy earlier in the off-season when he failed to report for training with the rest of the squad on July 8.

Leonardo has previously said the 27-year-old can leave for the right price, but he told reporters after the game in Germany that no offers have been tabled for him.

"Honestly, there is nothing different from the last time we talked," he said, according to Le Parisien. "Nothing at all.

"It has not moved. There is no concrete offer for Neymar, he is with us. He is a player for Paris Saint-Germain.

"I repeat, there is no concrete offer. It's been the same situation for 10 days."

Bayern Munich Ease Past Real Madrid

Eden Hazard made his Real Madrid debut as the LaLiga giants were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich at the International Champions Cup in Houston.

Hazard wore the Madrid jersey for the first time since his big-money move from Chelsea, while fellow recruits Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo Goes also made their bows for Zinedine Zidane's side.

But Corentin Tolisso, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry stole the show as Bayern put Madrid to the sword in the second half, which saw Zidane make 11 changes at the interval.

Tolisso opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Bayern completely dominated in the second half, with substitutes Lewandowski and Gnabry condemning Madrid to defeat in their ICC opener on Saturday.

Madrid did have something to celebrate when Rodrygo capped his debut with a stunning 84th-minute free-kick after Sven Ulreich was sent off for bringing down the former Santos youngster.

De Gea to Sign New Man Utd Deal

✍*

David de Gea will sign a new long-term contract at Manchester United that will make him the best-paid goalkeeper in the world, as per reports.

The six-year contract is thought to be worth more than £110million.

De Gea, 28, received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and the Spaniard had a 'reflective period' to mull over his future following a woeful run of form in United's run-in.

However, De Gea has finally decided to commit to United and is expected to sign a £375,000-a-week contract after the squad returns from Asia later this month.

Although De Gea's wage hike has helped persuade him to stay, he has always put footballing decisions ahead of monetary motivations and believes he can still win silverware with United.

It is understood De Gea is grateful for the support he received from United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his backroom coaching staff during what sources close to the Spain international described as the goalkeeper's 'lowest ebb' at the end of last term.

“We gathered from his farm neighbour and brother that initially, one of the bandits appeared before them saying anyone who knows he is guilty should run and who is not should stay.

“Shafiu refused to run and when the others numbering over a hundred arrived, they opened fire and killed him instantly, this is his remains that we brought here for the governor to see and know that this peace initiative is not working for us,” he said.

*Nigeria Producing🤷‍♂️ More Food Than It Can Consume – Wase*

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has claimed Nigeria is producing more food than the population can actually consume.

According to him, that was why the House of Representative passed a resolution urging President Muhammadu Buhari to mop up the excess grains in the country and save them for rainy days.

This was made known in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mohammed Umar on Saturday.

The statement reads in part, “The House has passed a resolution urging the federal government to mop up excess grains in the market so as to store same for rainy days and at the same time encourage more production.

“It goes to show that Nigeria is producing more food than the population can actually consume which is why there is excess. But government will continue to promote local food production. Our covenant with Nigerians is to make their lives better.”

The deputy Speaker reiterated his resolve to advance the improvement of the living standard of Nigerians who always braced obstacles to come out and vote during elections.

Recalling a particular campaign incident in Jos, the Plateau state capital during the presidential campaign where overwhelming crowd of Nigerians trooped out to welcome President Muhammad Buhari, Wase said that the common Nigerians made sacrifices to be there on that day based on their believe in the ability of the president to positively impact their lives.

He promised to do his best under the circumstances, adding that the House leadership would not let Nigerians down, and that “it’s not about party or religion, but the good and progress of Nigeria”.

*COZA Rape😖 Scandal: Timi Dakolo Accuses Pastor Fatoyinbo💰 of Bribing Security Officials to Cover up Crimes*

Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has accused Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, of bribing security officials to cover up his crimes.

Dakolom in a post on his Instagram page raised the alarm of how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly bribed officials investigating the alleged rape case and consistently harassed his family.

The singer, however, threatened to protect his family no matter the cost while declaring war with the COZA Pastor.

According to him, he would defend his family from the “unrelenting attack of a weak man who thinks he can use money and power to cover for all of his crimes.”

They were later reported to be police officers sent to deliver letter inviting him for questioning over alleged falsehood.

He wrote: “Our lawyers had told us to get ready for this letter. We have long been ready for your intimidation and dirtiness. For your Ilorin methods and underhand tactics.

“A pastor? Bribing investigating officials to delay summons? Paying dirty bloggers to fabricate things that cover the truth, going to the IG’s people under dark to force this case to be posted to Abuja?

“Now this an investigation in Abuja, when you haven’t answered to the rape case against you in Lagos? Rubbishing the legal and criminal system?

“And sending a bus load of armed policemen and shady men lying in wait to intimidate my wife and children today, forcing their way into my home?

“Is that how the REAL police deliver a letter? This is best you can do? This is why all the hurting women and families haven’t come against you?

“You picked the wrong one and you picked the wrong time. Nigerians are more awake than you think.

“If it’s a fight you want, it’s a war you will get…your filthiness under the guise of Christianity I will expose every single thing.

“I will fight for my wife and my children -it’s the promise I made with my life and one I intend to keep.

“I will defend them from the unrelenting attack of a weak man who thinks he can use money and power to cover for all of his crimes.

Like I said, we have since been ready .

*Atiku 🆚 Buhari: PDP Still Confident💪 of Victory – Peter Obi*

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice Presidential Candidate in the last election, Mr. Peter Obi, says the party still has the chances of taking over the reigns of power in the country.

Obi, who spoke in Awka, Anambra State during the party’s stakeholders meeting, said all hope was not lost as the party had a good case at the tribunal, which was still on.

He said, “Election in Nigeria is not easy, after the election, you have to still go to court and queue up, and that is where real money is spent in hiring lawyers, but I must assure you that all hope is not lost, and we are progressing steadily.

“The man, who is there now, has contested for four times before he made it, and we are also confident that in no time, the right thing will be done,” Obi said in Igbo language.

The former governor said that as the country stood today, PDP remained the only hope of a progressive and prosperous Nigeria as the APC had failed the country and its citizens completely.

“In church this morning, when the priest called up prayers for Nigeria, the man sitting next to me told me he had stopped praying for Nigeria long ago, but rather prays for the removal of APC, since we already know who the problems of the country are.

“Nigerians are already disenchanted with the APC, and even the APC members are also complaining, so that has made PDP a brand today, and marked her out as the only party that can deliver Nigeria.”

Obi also thanked members of the party in the state, saying that it was only in Anambra that the APC failed to get as little as five percent.

“That feat was made possible by all of you here. Despite the fact that they had all the security agencies working for them and here in Anambra we also had a governor who was strongly against us, but they could not get five percent.”

*Zuma Threatens to Reveal More ANC🤫 ‘Secrets’*

Former President Jacob Zuma has threatened to reveal more ANC “secrets” if his detractors don’t back off.

Zuma on Friday addressed hundreds of supporters from a stage in Pieter Roos Park after his appearance at the Zondo commission. He was in a threatening mood.

“Some say this old man is angry,” he said. “All I’m saying is people must be very careful. When I say, I will say things about them - I mean it.”

He warned his detractors that he would reveal information about more “spies” in the ruling party, after claiming his former Cabinet ministers Siphiwe Nyanda and Ngoako Ramatlhodi were double agents in the apartheid era.

“They will think I am mad when I reveal them one by one,” he said, adding that what he had disclosed thus far was a consequence of sheer provocation.

Ramaphosa to Study Mkhwebane’s Report Before📢 Announcing Action*

*

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office says the Public Protector’s report on the Bosasa African National Congress (ANC) election donation is defective in law and fact but he studies the report before announcing a course of action.

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane has found that Ramaphosa deliberately misled parliament when he said in November last year that the R500,000 donation was a payment to his son for services rendered.

The president later corrected that statement by acknowledging that it was in fact a donation to the fund which supported his efforts to be elected in 2017 as president of the governing party.

Advocate Mkhwebane found that president Ramaphosa violated provisions of the executive ethics code by deliberately misleading parliament.

The presidency’s Khusela Diko says Ramaphosa identified deficiencies in law and fact in the preliminary report but these were not included in the final report.

*The Media Is Busy🛫 Saying I Travel a Lot, But Look at What I Bring:🗣 ED*

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has claimed that his trips are yielding positive results.

The president has been criticised for his globetrotting behaviour which some quarters of society have likened to that of his predecessor, Robert Mugabe.

Mnangagwa has come under fire particularly for hiring luxurious planes “when the country’s economy is at its knees”.

Addressing the ZANU PF’s Women’s League yesterday, Mnangagwa defended his travels yesterday saying they have unlocked doors for partnership.

He said:

_The media is busy saying I travel a lot. But look (at) what I bring. On Monday or so, we shall be receiving more medicines from the Arabs. They are giving us for free._

The luxurious jet Mnangagwa has been hiring, the luxury Royal Jet A6-RJX, is believed to cost between US$10 000 and US$30 000 per hour. News Day observes that the president has since July the 6th this year more than seven times. This brings the total expenses to about US$1 million.

Some analysts have argued that the president could save the money and invest in other bleeding sectors.

The opposition MDC which is not amused has called for investigations into the trips. MDC secretary for international relations, Gladys Hlatywayo, said that it boggles the mind to think that it is actually happening considering the state of the economy. She said:

A thorough investigation must be made into these trips, something is just not adding up and there could be more than meets the eye!

*Nigerians Jittery as Trump Begins⚠ Raid of Illegal Immigrants*

There are indications that some Nigerians may be affected in the ongoing raids on undocumented aliens ordered by the United States President, Mr Donald Trump.

It reported that ICE agents were targeting at least 2,000 immigrants for deportation across 10 major cities and could also sweep up immigrants who were not the initial targets.

The NYT recalled that Trump had on June 17 tweeted that the following week, ICE would begin removing "millions" of undocumented immigrants from the US.

A resident of Texas, who craved anonymity, said her Nigerian neighbour was invited for interrogation , but was quick to add that most Nigerians in the US were documented.

New Orleans is also on the list, but the city tweeted last week that US ICE said it would suspend operations through last weekend in areas hit by Tropical Storm Barry, which weakened to a tropical depression Sunday.

*'Mind-Man Climbs on Airplane✈ Wing Moments Before Take off in Lugo's

A man has been filmed climbing onto the wing of a passenger plane moments before takeoff.

The man, who’s since been arrested, was filmed at Nigeria’s busiest airport in the city of Lagos much to the horror of passengers on board Friday (local time).

Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria spokeswoman Henrietta Yakubu said the Azman Air plane had been waiting for clearance from air traffic controllers.

She added it taxied back for a “thorough check” before departing for Port Harcourt about 600km southeast.

It was not clear how the man reached the plane or what his intention was.

However, passenger Otto Orondaam, who shared two videos of the incident with his 84,000 Instagram followers claims the man appeared from a bush.

Cancer of the prostate is one of the most common cancers in males. It usually occurs above the age of 50. The chances of developing this cancer increase if any of your first degree relatives have this form of cancer.

Prostate cancer is usually slow growing, but can rapidly grow and spread in some individuals. Most individuals with prostate cancer have *no* symptoms at all, especially in the early stages. It may cause obstruction to the flow of urine, cause increased urination, blood in urine etc. In the later stages, it can spread especially to the bones and cause pain in the bones or even fractures.

Due to increased screening by blood tests for PSA (a substance secreted by the prostate), prostate cancer is being detected at an early stage in most individuals. A biopsy can confirm the same.

In the early stages, there may be no treatment required at all. The patient may only be monitored regularly to see if the PSA values are increasing. Medical and surgical treatment methods are available and will be chosen based on each patient’s requirements. Symptomatic relief is also given.

how can a sixteen year old male get flawless skin🤔?

It's difficult for any 16 year old to have flawless skin. Didi recommends the basics - staying hydrated, washing your face daily with mild soap, avoiding too much caffeine and fatty/greasy foods, and regular exercise. If you have really bad acne - not just here and there (nomal for teenagers), but all over, try talking to a dermatologist (skin doctor). There are medicines that could help, but such medicines are not without side effects, so should be used only under the guidance of a doctor!

dropped breasts because of touching by men😓?

Breasts don't drop or sag just because they've been touched! Saggy breasts are caused by weight (smaller breasts are less likely to sag), and skin elasticity - which can be affected by age, rapid weight gain/loss, and pregnancy - definitely not by touching, even squeezing!
