*Kanye West Expected to Visit Trump at The White House❗*

President Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are expected to meet with the musician Kanye West on Thursday at the White House, two people familiar with the plans said.

Mr. West, who has faced a backlash over his vocal support of the president, will meet first with Mr. Kushner and then have lunch with the president, the two people said.

Mr. Kushner, who serves as a senior adviser to Mr. Trump, has been focused on overhauling the criminal justice system, and one person briefed on the meeting said that Mr. West wanted to discuss the availability of job opportunities for former convicts. He also hopes to discuss with Mr. Trump how to increase the number of manufacturing jobs in the Chicago area, where Mr. West grew up and recently said he planned to return, according to the person briefed on the meeting.

A representative for Mr. West confirmed the meeting. A White House spokeswoman did not respond to an email seeking comment.

*Second Summit with North Korea in The Works, Trump Says*

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday plans were being made for his second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and he thinks "incredible" progress has been made in U.S. talks with the long-isolated country.

"Well it is happening and we're setting that up right now," Trump told reporters at the White House after announcing the resignation of UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

He said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had very good talks with Kim over the weekend and that three or four locations were being considered for the two leaders' next summit. "Timing won't be too far away," he said.

*Trump: Ivanka Would Be 'Incredible' at UN if Not for Accusations of Nepotism*

President Trump said Tuesday that his daughter Ivanka would be "dynamite" as an ambassador to the United Nations, but conceded that he would be accused of nepotism if he appointed her to replace outgoing Ambassador Nikki Haley.

"I think Ivanka would be incredible," Trump told reporters as he prepared to depart the White House for a campaign rally in Iowa.

"You'd be accused of nepotism even though I'm not sure there's anybody more competent in the world," Trump added.

Trump said he's considering Dina Powell for the position. Powell previously served as the president's deputy national security adviser and focused on Middle East policy, but left the administration at the beginning of this year. She later joined Harvard University as a non-resident senior fellow.

*Sydney Opera House Protesters Disrupt Horse Racing Advertisement*

A controversial advertisement projected on the side of the Sydney Opera House was disrupted by a sea of lights on Tuesday evening, as protesters attempted to ruin the light show with flashlights and smartphones.

Plans to splash an advertisement for the Everest Cup horse race on the side of the UNESCO World Heritage site fiercely divided Australia's largest city in the past week.
While some considered the use of an Australian cultural icon to promote a race "sacrilegious," Prime Minister Scott Morrison said it was logical to use the "biggest billboard Sydney has."

Hundreds of protestors shouting "our house" gathered outside the Opera House late on Tuesday, carrying banners and torches ahead of the light show which began shortly before 8 p.m. (5 a.m. ET).
Loud boos broke out when the side of the building lit up with the advertisement for the upcoming race and bright white lights from the protestors' flashlights partially disrupted the light show.
The controversy began on Friday when media in Sydney announced the Opera House had refused a Racing NSW request to advertise the upcoming horse race on the side of the historic building.

*Chamisa Not Answer to Current Economic Challenges:๐Ÿ—ฃ ED Spokesperson*

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesperson George Charamba told The Herald that MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa is not the answer to Zimbabwe’s current economic challenges.

He said only principles of good economics being followed by the Zanu-PF Government will transform Zimbabwe’s economy.

Said Charamba:

"I pity Chamisa because he is being invested with Messianic powers which he doesn’t wield. At one level, he is supposed to be conferring legitimacy to the winner of 2018 elections, now I notice he is supposed to be the panacea to spurring the economy. This one young politician with a mortal life being invested with all these powers — God help us. He is a mere man and an erring man like all mortals.

"The economy of this country will be turned around by the hands of the citizens of this nation. There is no magic wand, there is no Messiah, only principles of good economics and these are what are being followed by the Government. There is a very clear strategy enunciated in the Monetary Policy, buttressed by the Fiscal Policy and all both expressing themselves in the context of a Transitional Plan. Those are the instruments for spurring the economy forward, not a mere individual."
