*Nigeria Producing🤷‍♂️ More Food Than It Can Consume – Wase*

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has claimed Nigeria is producing more food than the population can actually consume.

According to him, that was why the House of Representative passed a resolution urging President Muhammadu Buhari to mop up the excess grains in the country and save them for rainy days.

This was made known in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mohammed Umar on Saturday.

The statement reads in part, “The House has passed a resolution urging the federal government to mop up excess grains in the market so as to store same for rainy days and at the same time encourage more production.

“It goes to show that Nigeria is producing more food than the population can actually consume which is why there is excess. But government will continue to promote local food production. Our covenant with Nigerians is to make their lives better.”

The deputy Speaker reiterated his resolve to advance the improvement of the living standard of Nigerians who always braced obstacles to come out and vote during elections.

Recalling a particular campaign incident in Jos, the Plateau state capital during the presidential campaign where overwhelming crowd of Nigerians trooped out to welcome President Muhammad Buhari, Wase said that the common Nigerians made sacrifices to be there on that day based on their believe in the ability of the president to positively impact their lives.

He promised to do his best under the circumstances, adding that the House leadership would not let Nigerians down, and that “it’s not about party or religion, but the good and progress of Nigeria”.

*COZA Rape😖 Scandal: Timi Dakolo Accuses Pastor Fatoyinbo💰 of Bribing Security Officials to Cover up Crimes*

Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has accused Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, of bribing security officials to cover up his crimes.

Dakolom in a post on his Instagram page raised the alarm of how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly bribed officials investigating the alleged rape case and consistently harassed his family.

The singer, however, threatened to protect his family no matter the cost while declaring war with the COZA Pastor.

According to him, he would defend his family from the “unrelenting attack of a weak man who thinks he can use money and power to cover for all of his crimes.”

They were later reported to be police officers sent to deliver letter inviting him for questioning over alleged falsehood.

He wrote: “Our lawyers had told us to get ready for this letter. We have long been ready for your intimidation and dirtiness. For your Ilorin methods and underhand tactics.

“A pastor? Bribing investigating officials to delay summons? Paying dirty bloggers to fabricate things that cover the truth, going to the IG’s people under dark to force this case to be posted to Abuja?

“Now this an investigation in Abuja, when you haven’t answered to the rape case against you in Lagos? Rubbishing the legal and criminal system?

“And sending a bus load of armed policemen and shady men lying in wait to intimidate my wife and children today, forcing their way into my home?

“Is that how the REAL police deliver a letter? This is best you can do? This is why all the hurting women and families haven’t come against you?

“You picked the wrong one and you picked the wrong time. Nigerians are more awake than you think.

“If it’s a fight you want, it’s a war you will get…your filthiness under the guise of Christianity I will expose every single thing.

“I will fight for my wife and my children -it’s the promise I made with my life and one I intend to keep.

“I will defend them from the unrelenting attack of a weak man who thinks he can use money and power to cover for all of his crimes.

Like I said, we have since been ready .

*Atiku 🆚 Buhari: PDP Still Confident💪 of Victory – Peter Obi*

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice Presidential Candidate in the last election, Mr. Peter Obi, says the party still has the chances of taking over the reigns of power in the country.

Obi, who spoke in Awka, Anambra State during the party’s stakeholders meeting, said all hope was not lost as the party had a good case at the tribunal, which was still on.

He said, “Election in Nigeria is not easy, after the election, you have to still go to court and queue up, and that is where real money is spent in hiring lawyers, but I must assure you that all hope is not lost, and we are progressing steadily.

“The man, who is there now, has contested for four times before he made it, and we are also confident that in no time, the right thing will be done,” Obi said in Igbo language.

The former governor said that as the country stood today, PDP remained the only hope of a progressive and prosperous Nigeria as the APC had failed the country and its citizens completely.

“In church this morning, when the priest called up prayers for Nigeria, the man sitting next to me told me he had stopped praying for Nigeria long ago, but rather prays for the removal of APC, since we already know who the problems of the country are.

“Nigerians are already disenchanted with the APC, and even the APC members are also complaining, so that has made PDP a brand today, and marked her out as the only party that can deliver Nigeria.”

Obi also thanked members of the party in the state, saying that it was only in Anambra that the APC failed to get as little as five percent.

“That feat was made possible by all of you here. Despite the fact that they had all the security agencies working for them and here in Anambra we also had a governor who was strongly against us, but they could not get five percent.”

*Zuma Threatens to Reveal More ANC🤫 ‘Secrets’*

Former President Jacob Zuma has threatened to reveal more ANC “secrets” if his detractors don’t back off.

Zuma on Friday addressed hundreds of supporters from a stage in Pieter Roos Park after his appearance at the Zondo commission. He was in a threatening mood.

“Some say this old man is angry,” he said. “All I’m saying is people must be very careful. When I say, I will say things about them - I mean it.”

He warned his detractors that he would reveal information about more “spies” in the ruling party, after claiming his former Cabinet ministers Siphiwe Nyanda and Ngoako Ramatlhodi were double agents in the apartheid era.

“They will think I am mad when I reveal them one by one,” he said, adding that what he had disclosed thus far was a consequence of sheer provocation.

Ramaphosa to Study Mkhwebane’s Report Before📢 Announcing Action*

*

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office says the Public Protector’s report on the Bosasa African National Congress (ANC) election donation is defective in law and fact but he studies the report before announcing a course of action.

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane has found that Ramaphosa deliberately misled parliament when he said in November last year that the R500,000 donation was a payment to his son for services rendered.

The president later corrected that statement by acknowledging that it was in fact a donation to the fund which supported his efforts to be elected in 2017 as president of the governing party.

Advocate Mkhwebane found that president Ramaphosa violated provisions of the executive ethics code by deliberately misleading parliament.

The presidency’s Khusela Diko says Ramaphosa identified deficiencies in law and fact in the preliminary report but these were not included in the final report.
