Apart from Rabies, dog bites can also cause various other diseases. Saliva of dogs contain bacteria and other organisms that can cause disease in humans. First aid in case of a dog bite is to _immediately_ wash the wound thoroughly with running water and soap. This will cleanse the area of most of the infective organisms, thus decreasing the injected dose of organism. _Do not_ bandage the area unless it is bleeding profusely. Once this is done, you should immediately consult a doctor for further treatment.

Do you have male relatives - father, grandfathers who are bald? If so, there's nothing much you can do - unfortunately, some men/boys start having receding hairlines, even as youngsters.
