*Deepika Reveals How Her Mother’s 👩🏻‍🏫 Strict Parenting Style Keeps Hubby Ranveer on His Toes*

Now, we all have read about Deepika- the star, but little do we know that behind the actress, Deepika is a simple girl, brought up by her humble parents and all thanks to her mother, Ujjala, Deepika has learned a lot from her.

During a recent interaction, Deepika spoke at length about her mom as she said, “I have learnt a lot from her. I don’t think there is a single thing I can do without her voice in my head. Simple things like when I buy something, I remember that she has always told me, ‘find out how much it is for’”. Not just this, thanks to her mother’s strict parenting style, Ranveer Singh too is kept on a check by wifey as Deepika said, “We were all her priority. She allowed us to pursue our passion and, at the same time, disciplined all of us. Today, if Ranveer says ‘my wife expects us to be home at a certain time, go to bed at a certain time’— all those things come from her.”

On the work front, DP will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's film Chhapaak and the film is based on the real-life story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi. Besides Deepika, the film stars Vikrant Massey, and is expected to go on floors soon. Also, Deepika will turn producer with Chhapaak.
