How do you forgive someone?

 


If you are looking for a reason to forgive someone, you must have experienced pain. Forgiveness is not hard once you look beyond the physical body.
One of the reasons why we find it hard to forgive is because we remind ourselves of their behaviour or deed that led to our heartbreak. We need to remember that people's personality, attitude or behaviour is all learned, so it differs with the environment, upbringing and surroundings. Their behaviour represents their own sufferings, setbacks, lessons and understanding of life. The soul is free from external influences, and forgiving won't be difficult once you connect with it.
Free yourself from the heaviness. Forgive the body that is unkind, inconsiderate and harsh to you, for when the body perishes, grudges will also go and what will remain is the soul.

If you ever measure your self worth by comparing yourself with others, you might have to rethink!


Our self worth is the value we give to self. This value is about how we see ourselves without the judgemental eyes. Most of the people feel uncomfortable when they are around people who have achieved success, have a stable life and plenty of wealth. They see others success as their own failure while there are some other who let others down because they feel they are too accomplished in life. By overestimating ourselves, we retard our growth and by underestimating, we don’t let ourselves sprout. 

We all have our own destination and find success in our own ways. Stay humble in every situation, whether you have it or not. If you have more, share it with others and if you want more, strive for it.


Are small adjustments needed to keep your relationship happy?



Adjustments mean that we develop more acceptance of people and behaviour that we usually dislike. It doesn't mean we lose our self-esteem but rather don't lower their self-esteem because we value them. 

Relationships are two-sided efforts. The adjustments also need to be from both sides. Conflicts usually happen when people fail to accommodate each other. If you make a few adjustments to accommodate other people, not only does your relationship become smooth but also be long-lasting. 

Be accommodating. In any relationship, we must remember that we are dealing with a unique person. Their thoughts and opinions are not always going to match with ours. At times, there will be differences. If we want our relationship to work out, there has to be understanding from both ends. If no one makes adjustments, the relationship is bound to break, and if only one person makes adjustments, it is only a compromised relationship.

Why do sometimes we feel trapped even with the greatest liberty?

 


The choices we make in life can greatly influence how we feel about ourselves. 
Unless our mind is free, no amount of freedom can make us feel free.

Most people are living with a burden in their minds. It is either the burden of their wrongdoing or breaking someone one’s trust. You might have been untruthful to your parents, your partner or your work colleague while they  trusted you and gave you complete liberty. They might or might not ever find about it, but you live in a fear and anxiety every moment, and this stress entraps your mind.

Never misuse your freedom. Always listen to your conscience when you are making a choice. Every choice you make can change the world around you. Either it can become a trap for your mind or can set you free.

Can our own perception change our situation?



It is own perception that decides how we will feel in a certain situation. We can either lose heart and look at our circumstances with fear or we can find hope even in the most difficult times.

We often come across situations when we feel things didn’t happen the way we expected. We feel heartbroken, tired and become distressed because what we see is only disappointments in that situation. Every situation has another aspect to it. It didn’t happen your way because life wanted you to experience something else, it could have been worse than what it is or it was a time life wanted you to find your real strengths. If you see a positive in every situation, you will find yourself coping up with every situation very easily.

Have a positive mindset even in the most difficult times. It won’t change that situation  but it will change the way you feel about it.
