Is your presence a source of joy for others?

Every time we connect with someone, there is an exchange of thoughts, ideas and emotions. A positive exchange can inspire people, while a negative one brings them down.

Sometimes we meet people who are so positive and inspiring that we become motivated in our own life. We see goodness in aspects of life and possibility in everything, and our perception opens up.

In any relationship, try to uplift people, build their confidence and make them see positivity in life, you will make them connected to life, and they will feel connected to you.

Do you acknowledge the land of your origin?

The land we are raised on gives us a sense of identity and belonging. When we have a sense of belonging, we feel a part of it and develop a feeling of oneness.

Sometimes, when people grow in life, they feel reluctant to embrace their origin and tend to hide their identity. We must remember that the soil we grow on is more than a piece of land. It is about the people, tradition, culture and values.

Always respect your soil and contribute towards its growth. Our land of origin is the reason for our existence. It is not just a land but a deep bond.

Can we turn a delay into our favour?

When something takes too long to happen, we usually have no control over it, but how well we utilise this time is certainly in our hands.

There are times when we have an intense desire to achieve something. We put in our best effort but don't see the desired results. An extended delay may make us feel like a loser and that our time and effort have gone in vain. Utilising this time efficiently can actually help you to progress in life.

Use this extra time to improve yourself, learn new things, and add more skills. Not only will you be able to get through this time of delay without noticing it much, but you will also prepare yourself to go further high in life.

Be in the moment you are living. Sadness will only be momentary, but happiness will become long-lasting.

Most people are not entirely present in the moment they are living. They either regret their past or worry about the future. When you live with limited awareness and are not fully involved with the people around you, you miss out on many little moments of joy, people around you feel neglected, and you don’t feel enthusiastic about life.

Don’t carry the burden of past and future all the time. Learn from your past so that you improve, prepare for your future so that you deal with what comes your way but be in your now because this is the only moment that truly belongs to you.

OUR CHILDREN REQUIRE TRAINING AND DISCIPLING.

I heard the story of a young boy who beats up his mother. One day, he did it in front of his classmates in school.

I guess it grew out of  lack of parental correction and discipline.

I guess some folks have internalized the western culture of "don't beat children, just talk to them".

These children grow up to think that whatever comes to their mind is correct. And boom trouble starts.

Children have plenty of foolishness in their hearts. God gave them to us to raise them up with certain godly standards.

If they deserve a rod in the process, we give them. They will cry but they will not die.

Some kids cannot try this sha. They know what will follow.

Do you rely on others for your happiness?

The source of joy is within us. External factors can influence our state of mind for some time, but we need to rely on ourselves for long-lasting happiness.
Many people remain unsatisfied because they feel that the only way to feel happy is when things go their way, others fulfil their expectations or the presence of certain people in life.
To feel happy, limit your expectations, stop relying on others and start appreciating your life. No one can make you happy unless you choose to be.
