Do you value the time someone gives you?

When someone gives time to you, they genuinely feel for you. By valuing their time, we make their presence and those moments even more worthwhile.

Whenever someone does anything, we try to put a monetary value to it. Because time can not always be quantified, most people don't always find it valuable. We need to remember that when a person gives us time, they also open up their heart, listen to our story, engage with our emotions and spend their energy. They could well utilise this time for themselves, but they value us more.

Always appreciate people's presence, their time and their concern for you. If they have given you their time, they have given you some moments of their life. Value it.

Why should you not let your mind be idle?

An idle mind is a stagnant mind because when our mind doesn't do what it is intended to, it closes itself to progress and growth.

Many people misuse their time by staying idle. When the mind is empty, it gets filled with negativity. We start to see problems in everything, faults in every person and imperfections in our lives. When we keep our mind calm, we find solutions to our problems, get along with others and appreciate our lives.

You need to give rest to your mind by clearing out unwanted thoughts, calm it by keeping trust in life and restore it by praying and meditating.

How do our intentions matter when we try to help someone?

Our intentions greatly influence the outcome in life. When we intend to help someone, even the situations become favourable, and things start to fall into place.

Sometimes, we really want to help someone, but we don't feel capable enough to do so. We may not have enough resources or measures to bring them out of their difficult situation. But, when we genuinely feel for someone's situation, we find that we could make a big difference in their lives even by utilising the scarce means we have.

If you want to make a difference, you need to have a deep desire to bring change. When the intent is to help, you will look for solutions and develop the strength to overcome obstacles; even the universe will work in your favour.

Are you feeling your effort went in vain?

Efforts never go in vain. You may not see the results in the form of what you want to achieve but it will certainly help you to achieve something else.

We often relate our efforts to our success. If we don't succeed in doing something, we repent that everything we did was useless. We must remember that anything we do in life provides new skills to us. These skills are not necessarily professional skills but life skills such as patience, persistence and perseverance.

Your efforts always add worth to your life. If you see your progress, you will see it as your success.

Is starting small making you feel small in life?

Any start means that you took the courage to put your ideas into practice, and it should be a reason to feel proud of yourself.

Sometimes we want to achieve something in life but lack the required resources. Most people wait for everything to be in their favour because they want to make it big from the beginning, so they never take the first step and never make it happen. A few embrace the small start yet turn it into a big success because they encounter and accept more opportunities that come along the way.

Always be open to starting low. You may grow slowly, but you will see the fruits one day.
