Why do difficult times make us value what we have?

Why do difficult times make us value what we have?

We take so many things in our lives for granted. When something is already available to us, we tend to not value it enough.

Whether it is people in our lives or other aspects of life such as health, knowledge, relationships, and culture, we often forget to appreciate them. When we go through difficult times and see those people standing with us and little things helping us to cope up with those situations, we realize their importance and tend to appreciate them more.

Don't become ignorant because you feel you have a surplus or you are so sufficient that you won't need anyone or anything else in life. Appreciate everything and everyone that adds value to your life. In the dark days, these are the ones who will stand by your side.

Why do sometimes we feel trapped even with the greatest liberty?

The choices we make in life can greatly influence how we feel about ourselves.
Unless our mind is free, no amount of freedom can make us feel free.

Most people are living with a burden in their minds. It is either the burden of their wrongdoing or breaking someone one’s trust. You might have been untruthful to your parents, your partner or your work colleague while they  trusted you and gave you complete liberty. They might or might not ever find about it, but you live in a fear and anxiety every moment, and this stress entraps your mind.

Never misuse your freedom. Always listen to your conscience when you are making a choice. Every choice you make can change the world around you. Either it can become a trap for your mind or can set you free.

Can our perception change our situation

Can our own perception change our situation?

It is own perception that decides how we will feel in a certain situation. We can either lose heart and look at our circumstances with fear or we can find hope even in the most difficult times.

We often come across situations when we feel things didn’t happen the way we expected. We feel heartbroken, tired and become distressed because what we see is only disappointments in that situation. Every situation has another aspect to it. It didn’t happen your way because life wanted you to experience something else, it could have been worse than what it is or it was a time life wanted you to find your real strengths. If you see a positive in every situation, you will find yourself coping up with every situation very easily.

Have a positive mindset even in the most difficult times. It won’t change that situation  but it will change the way you feel about it.

Is is possible to forget people or situations that leaves us in pain

Is it possible to forget people or situations that leave us in pain?

Not really, but it does
If you are trying to forget a person or a situation, you are likely to have some memories attached to them. These are those memories that bring pain every time you think of them. The more you want to forget, the more you think about it. The more you think, the more you refresh everything in your mind. This leads nowhere but you just re-live those moments over and over again.

If you have a hurtful experience and want to move on from it, first you must accept it. Don't think over and over again about why it happened but take it as a part of life. Try to occupy your mind and time with things that give you inner joy. Pursue a hobby, do something recreational, be involved in art, meditate and pray.  Connect with people who uplift you. Once you create new memories that give you pleasure, those hurtful memories will slowly fade away.

Can sharing knowledge help us to grow

Knowledge is one of the greatest powers that can bring a change not only in your life by also in the lives of other people.

If you have learnt something that can make a difference in someone’s life, share it. When you share the words of wisdom, you create a direction for other people. You are able to show them the way towards light. And in doing this, you also find your own way, your own inner light.

Sharing knowledge is about paving a pathway for humanity and spirituality. Always share your knowledge, the more you spread, the more positive the world would become.

If you wanting to heal from a deep emotional wound, you must allow it to happen.

Healing an emotional wound requires self-love and empathy towards self. There are times when someone's behavior, actions, or words disappoint so much that we feel wounded. Most people find it hard to heal because they think about it over and over again, rubbing the wounds repeatedly so that it only gets deeper. Then, they look for people who can heal them forgetting that healing only happens from within.

To allow yourself to heal, stop blaming yourself, be forgiving and be kind. Accept what happened was for a bigger reason. Learn from that episode so you can prevent such heartbreaks from happening again.
