Going into a relationship is meant to be about the other person.
The When you say I love the you. It should mean I see you and I see that I have so many things and I want to share that with you.
I want to give you my best.
I want to be a blessing to you.
I want to see that you become the best.
When you go with that mindset you become the best romantic partner ever.
And what makes this work is the both of you think this way.
You are thinking of giving your best and your partner is thinking of giving their best too to you and both of you end up not just giving but receiving the best from each other.
The Bible said in John 3:16.
That God loved the word that he GAVE.
Not that he took.
Love gives and never takes but receives.
So a romantic partner is a partner that is ready to give their all to the one they claim to love.
There are two other types of romantic partners.
1. The creative romantic partner and
2. The traditional romantic partner or lover.
To break this down let's look at 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. It's a popular verse. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
We all know this right
Now listen.
The act of love are consistent but what makes those actions romantic or not is who is performing them.
A traditional romantic partner functions based on the normal.
The are kind, patient and all that is mentioned in the passage above.
But a creative romantic partner takes it a little bit higher. The make the normal extra ordinary
