Haemophilia

I was diagnosed with hemophilia and I don't know what it is.What is hemophilia ?⚕️ 
 
Haemophilia is a clotting disorder of the blood. It is inherited as a genetic disorder. The defective gene causes production of insufficient quantities of a protein which is required for blood to clot normally. There are different types of Haemophilia, but Haemophilia A and Haemophilia B are the most common. Both of these are caused by deficiency of different clotting factors. This disorder is commonly detected when there is increased bleeding caused by minor falls or bumps, or increased bleeding on tooth extraction. Depending on the severity of the disorder, Haemophilia is categorised into mild, moderate and severe. Treatment is by infusion of the appropriate clotting factor and the frequency will vary as per the severity of the disorder.
