Secondly, some procedures may not be advisable during pregnancy. The dentist may opt to use a safer stop-gap procedure and to defer the definitive procedure until after delivery. The use of painkillers also has to be carefully regulated during pregnancy. You must consult a dentist to find out the cause of your toothache. It may be due to a cause which can have a simple and quick treatment. The cause of your toothache will determine how it is treated.
